Glen Patrick Evans

Born in Saugus and grew up in West Lynn to the late William T. Evans and June E. (LaRoque) Martin. He worked as a printer for 50 years before retiring with Christian Book Distributors. Glen loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping, hiking and biking. He also loved gardening and family cookouts.

In addition to being the loving husband of Shirley Evans, Glen is also the devoted father of Janelle Evans, Glen Evans and his wife Vanessa and Matthew Evans. He is the cherished Papa of David Glen & Alivia Rose Poirier, Alex Evans and Isabella Evans. He is the loving brother of the Sharon Parsons of Florida, Stephen Evans & his wife Patricia of Texas, James Martin of Lynn and brother in law to Elaine Martin of Saugus. He is predeceased by his brothers Gary Evans, Kevin Evans and Gary Martin. He is also the loving cousin and uncle of several nieces and nephews with a larger extended family. All his favorite people called him Papa no matter their age!

Glen’s visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday. September 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
