Glenna E. Moriarty

Glenna E. Moriarty, 81 of Lynn passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by family. She was born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Taylor.

She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and attended North Shore Community College. Before her retirement, she worked at the Lincoln-Thompson Elementary School in Lynn in the cafeteria.

She is survived by her sons, Jay Moriarty and his wife, Carrie and Michael Moriarty; her brother, Gene Taylor and his wife, Ann; her grandchildren, Michael, Ashley and Christian; and her great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, Braiden, Jade and Shea. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H Moriarty, Sr.; her brothers, Robert Taylor and Bruce Taylor; and her granddaughter, Kristina Chiaradonna.

A visitation will be held in the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home in Lynn on Monday, January 26, 2026 from 10-11AM with a service to follow at 11AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.cuffemcginn.com for the family.
