Gloria was the eldest daughter to Joseph and Gloria (Campbell) Dupuis. She was the loving wife to the late Charles Dooley Jr. whom she shared 44 years of marriage.
Gloria was a lifelong Lynn resident graduating from Lynn Classical High School in 1965. She then worked in bookkeeping and clerical positions that included Lynn Police Dept., Liberty Mutual Insurance, and Saugus Housing Authority.
Gloria had a great love for singing and music. She was a member and president of “The Sweet Adeline’s” North Shore Chorus for several years. She held many fond memories of residing on Sluice Pond for over 40 years, participating in several fishing derbies with her husband and boat parades with friendly neighbors. Gloria also enjoyed crochet, attending concerts and musicals, trips to Foxwoods, and celebrating holidays and occasions with family and friends. She particularly loved her best friends, “The Bud Light Girls” Marcia D’Entremont, Salem, Julie Liacos, Gloucester, and Linda Field, Salem.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Parker and her husband Scott Parker of Lynn, Beth Dooley and her wife Steph Packard of FL. and her two cherished grandchildren Harrison and Samuel Parker of Lynn.
Gloria leaves behind her siblings, Frederick Dupuis and his wife Stacy of North Reading, Julianne Oliver and her husband Timothy of Lynn, Lorraine Honeycutt of FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Dupuis.
Gloria’s family would like to extend gratitude to the people and facilities that provided exceptional care in her battle with Alzheimer’s, including Melissa Oliver - who provided transportation with love, Shapiro–Rudolph Adult Day Health Center of Peabody, Sunrise of Lynnfield, the exceptionally caring staff at Life Care Center of Stoneham and Hands and Hearts Hospice.
A visitation will be held in the Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home in Lynn on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 9-10:30 AM with a service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
