Grace F. Mathewson Phillips

Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucy (Capen) Mathewson. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life.

She was a member of the South Peabody Garden Club.

Grace was dedicated to her family: her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she leaves six daughters, Jackie Weeden and her late husband Richard, Linda Upton and her husband Steve, of Lynn, Carol Scotina and her husband William of Peabody, Joanne Connor and her husband Robert, Sheila Seaman and her husband Shawn and June Blake and her husband Lynn Police Capt. Ted, of Lynn, 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William Mathewson.

A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062.
