Born in Perivolia, Sparta, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Yianni and Despina (Pantos) Heliotis. Harriet spent many years with her husband and family here in Lynn. She was a devout member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn.
Harriet leaves behind her two sons, Nicholas Rexinis and his wife Evelyn of Lynn, and Yianni Rexinis and his fiancé Lana of Lynnfield; her two daughters, Angela Liakopoulos and her late husband John of Lynn, and Debbie Nirgianakis and her husband Costa of Peabody; her sister Dina Aggeldou of Athens, Greece; her 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to attend visitation at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Thursday, March 4th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held on March 5th at 12 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Harriet’s honor may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 54 S.
