

Mrs. Helen R. Burnett, age 93 years, of Brentwood, NH, formerly of Lynn died Sunday, January 11, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William E. Burnett, with whom she spent 68 years of marriage. Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Rogers) Waterman. She attended Lynn English High School. She was employed as a waitress at Anthony's Hawthorne in Lynn, a clerk at Rooks Department Store in Lynn, and was a lunch aide in the Lynn School Department until she retired at the age of 85 yrs. Mrs. Burnett was an extensive world wide traveler, and enjoyed bringing Holiday Treats to the students were she was a lunch aide. She is survived by two daughters Maureen E. and her husband James E. Biggs III, of Brentwood, NH, Beverly J. and her husband Robert Grant of NH, FL., formerly of Lynn. Three grandchildren Michael L. and his wife MaryBeth O'Brien of Easton, MA, Shaun D. O'Brien of Chicago, IL, Linda J. and her husband John Mooney of Lynn, four great grandchildren Julia and Carolyn O'Brien of Easton, Michael and Brianna DeJoy of Lynn and many nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Charles Waterman, Dorothy Meadows and Elizabeth Lessard. Service Details: Mrs. Burnett's visiting hours will he held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Saturday from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM to which relatives and friend are invited to attend, with the Rev.
