
HELEN MACAULAY, age 90, died July 7, 2012 at Cedar Glen Care and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers. Daughter of Donald and Daisey (Hartley) Macaulay and youngest of four sisters, Helen lived most of her life in Lynn. She will be remembered for her bright and out- going personality, ability to cope with life’s vicissitudes, and for the poetry she wrote for special people in her life. Her great grandfather on her mother’s side was E.H. Timson, inventor, shoe pattern maker and real estate developer. Timson Street in Lynn is named for him. Survivors are her son Robert Macaulay, and granddaughters Chanel and Alicia of Odense, Demark, and a cousin Virginia Brown of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was the mother of the late Eleanor Macaulay and the sister of the late Marian Macaulay, Mabel Tamis and Florence Macaulay.
Graveside Service will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1PM. Arrangements by Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Donations may be made to My Brother’s Table, 98 Willow Street, Lynn 01901.
