Born in Lynn, he was the son of Joyce A. (Gotimer) Rickson of Lynn and the late James N. Rickson.
A lifelong Lynn resident, he attended Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute.
Most recently he worked for 10 years at Lappens Auto Parts, Lynn.
He enjoyed fishing and camping.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his sisters Robin Burley, and Lisa Tansey and her husband Edward all of Lynn. He was the uncle of Kayleigh, Kristin and Matthew Tansey and leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, hug your siblings.
