I've known Nan since I was 12 years old. Adam had become on e of my best friends. Well one time I rode my bike over there. Adam wasn't home yet. She let me in. Made me an English muffin and we talked for at least an hour. She's met and held all my children. Except for my last one. The last time I spoke to her. SHE told me No matter what. I always had them. I did too.....I love you Nan. I love how you loved everyone.....Especially that dog. RIP

My mom gave me a gold chain right before I went into the Navy. Except for during boot camp, I have never taken it off.
When I went to my radar school in California, I bought and added a pendant of Jesus wearing the Crown of Thorns. I married later and bought my wife the identical pendant at the Souk (marketplace) in Bahrain.
Later I had my chain and pendant blessed by a priest at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
I believe that this chain of Jesus has protected and watched over me out at sea on my Navy ship, and during any subsequent travels thereafter. I shall wear it for the remainder of my life.

Thanks Mom, and I love you and miss you dearly.
Your son Rick.

I was so sad to here that Janice had passed away. I had not seen Janice for a long time, but Janice was an amazing person she did everything for everyone no matter who you were. My heart goes out to everyone in the family she was the center of her family. She always was so kind to me she opened her house to me and made me feel like family as she did for everyone. I remember she loved listening country music, and watching game shows on TV and loved couponing and being able to save more than she spent. She loved to laugh and love. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
