Janice L. Neville

Janice Neville, known to friends and family as "Jan," passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the age of 78 years. Jan fought a brave battle with cancer and died in her home with her daughters at her side. A native of Lynn MA, in May of 1958, she married the love of her life John J. Neville Jr. “Jack”, also of Lynn. Jan served as a loving military wife as Jack served in the United States Air Force until his retirement in 1974. Jan worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block and a home health aide for ABC Home Health Associates. Prior to her husbands’ passing, she helped to run his business, J&J Modernizing. Jan was an avid reader, organic gardener, and a talented furniture refinisher. She was known for cooking wonderful Sunday dinners that were served precisely at halftime, because above all, Jan was a huge fan of the NE Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Jan is the sister of Michel E. Price of Beverly, MA, Catherine Cassidy of Swampscott, MA, Rosalie Bradanese of Williamsburg, VA and Constance Price of Danvers, MA, the late Carol Breaux of Shreveport, and the late Carol “Sandy” Gibley of Boston.

Jan is survived by; her daughters Sharyn Roche of Pelham NH, Linda Neville of Nashua NH, and her Son-in-Law Michael Roche of Pelham, NH. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren; Amy Mauriello of Portland, ME, Carolyn Mauriello of Nashua, NH, Siobhan Roche of Portland OR and Connor Roche of Pelham, NH. Janice also leaves behind her best friend and cousin, Rosemary MacKeen of Spring Hill, FL as well as many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.

One hour of visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 AM, at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Jan following the visitation at 11 AM, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn, MA. Burial will follow the Mass in Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston Street in Lynn, MA. Memorial donations in memory of Jan can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
