Jean Ann Donnelly

Jean A. McPartland Donnelly, born on January 9, 1945 passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025 outside in the garden at Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center on a beautiful sunny spring day at the age of 80.

Born in Lynn to the late Joseph and Flora (Estes) McPartland. Jeans was an Army wife and loved to travel in Europe and lived in Germany then later in life she treated herself to a trip to England, Scotland and Ireland. Her love for children led her to the career in become an assistant teacher at Joi Day Care and KinderCare.

Jean is survived by her loving children Catherine McGee of New Zealand, Joseph Donnelly and his wife Phyllis of Ireland, Maureen (Rossi) and her husband Ronald Fabbo of Florida and Kelly Ryan and her husband Kevin of Watertown; her cherished grandchildren Molly McGee, Emily McGee, Brett Rice, Antonie Farah and Christina Farah; her great-granddaughter Joelle; her brother Glenn McPartland and his wife Lisa of Lynn. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jean is predeceased by her grandson Brian Shiley and her sisters Kathleen McPartland and Carol Goudreau.

Visitation will be held of Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lynn.
