Jean "Judy" Grinnell

Born in Medford, Judy was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Regina (Miller) Dagle. She graduated from Malden Catholic Girls School Class of 1954. Judy was always dedicated to the care of others. Throughout her life, she was always willing to help anyone in need. Pursuing her dedication to help people, Judy decided to attend the Essex Agni Nursing School where she graduated in 1983. Following graduation, Judy was a LPN at both Grover Manor in Revere and Lynn Public Manor.

Though she enjoyed reading and playing the lottery, the only thing that was more important to her other than nursing was her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.

Judy is survived by her children, Jean Gately, Michael Grinnell, and a sister, Patricia Pacewicz, all of Lynn. Also survived by grandchildren, Jessica Grinnell and her significant other Cisco Mancia, Joshua Gately, Jarrod Grinnell and his significant other Aimee Webber and daughter Madison. Great-grandchild Christian and the expected Kinsley. Special niece Cathy and nephews Russell and Jimmy.

Judy’s Funeral will be held on Wednesday from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lynn at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
