In her free time, Joan loved painting, gardening, and spending time with her grand dog Jax. She also loved going to the beach any chance she could, and was a dedicated member of the Lion’s Club. Above all else though, Joan loved her family, and cherished the memories she made with them.

Surviving Joan are her dear children, Rachel DeVitto, Ralph C. DeVitto, III, and Roland DeVitto; her grandchildren, Joan DeVitto, Jenette DeVitto, and Ralph C. DeVitto, IV; her grand dog, Jax Sheldon, as well as many other close relatives and friends.

JOAN WAS A WONDER IN ITSELF. I STAYED AT HER HOUSE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND WAS ALWAYS MADE TO FEEL WELCOME. SHE TALKED ABOUT HER LIFE AND TOLD ME ABOUT SOME OF HER ADVENTURES. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY AND HER LITLE DOG. SHE WAS A WONDERFUL LADY AND I KNOW SHE WAS WELCOMED HOME INTO GODS LOVING HANDS. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY US ALL. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. Patti Kelley

I didn't know Joan for very long, but we did have several opportunities to get to know each other and chat about different topics. She seemed like a very nice person and I'm glad I got a chance to meet her. She's now in the loving arms of Jesus. Our condolences to her family.
