Joanne P. Meadows

Joanne P. Meadows, 86 of Lynn, formerly of Peabody, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was the devoted wife of Michael (Mioduszewski) Meadows of Lynn, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Joanne was the loving of mother of Michele Meadows of Lynn and Jennifer Meadows, who died in infancy; the dear sister of the late Evelyn, Patricia and Joseph Kulesza, and the late Dorothy Czarnecki, whose husband was the late Edward Czarnecki. She was also the dear sister of Teresa Shaimas whose husband is Francis Shaimas, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, which include the extensive beloved family on her husband’s side. Joanne was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Kulesza and Edna “Wadislawa” (Palys) Kulesza of Peabody.

Joanne formerly worked as a receptionist for North American Electronics, as well as General Electric in Lynn. In later years she worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. She was a retired homemaker for many years, who loved to grocery shop and cook elaborate, delicious meals for her family for the remainder of her life. She has faith in the Lord and strength that she did not even know she possessed.

Joanne loved Padre Pio and Our Lady of Guadeloupe. She was quick witted always and so smart, a good dancer and loved music and going to the beach. Another favorite pastime was playing the penny slots and polka, she was usually lucky, but mostly she loved her family and friends and taking care of and spending time with them.

Joanne’s visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Saint John Paul II Shrine of Divine Mercy, 30 St. Peter Street, Salem.
