Johana F. Power

Mrs. Johana F. (Tardiff) Power, 77, of Lynn, died February 22, 2012 at Spaulding Hospital North Shore. Beloved wife of the Retired Lynn Police Officer, J. Vinny Power with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Johana was born in Salem, MA daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Cooper) Tardiff. She worked for the Lynn District Court for nearly 15 years before her retirement. Johana enjoyed bingo, casinos and traveling. She was a very accomplished knitter. Above all else, Johana loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband Vinny, Johana is survived by her children, Charles Trask and wife Kathy of Peabody, Linda Berry and husband Clint of Lynn, Timothy Power and wife Cindy of Lynn, Jill DiGiovanni and husband Steven of NH and Patrick Power of NH. Sister of Barbara Rochon of Salem and the late Irene Westphal and the late Henry Tardiff, Jr. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Power’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St, Lynn on Monday at 10AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston St. Lynn at 11AM.
