John William Fahey, Jr.

John W. Fahey, Jr. age 67, of Lynn died unexpectedly at Salem Hospital after being stricken at home. Born in Lynn he was the son of the late John W. and Catherine Marie (LaCoy) Fahey, Sr. John attended schools in Lynn and graduated from St. John’s Prep, Class of 1976. He received a bachelor's degree in business from Merrimack College. He was a manager at Prime Computer in Framingham for 25 years and was presently employed as Department Manager at Lowe’s in Saugus. John enjoyed art, painting, gardening, was an excellent handyman, and loved to do projects around his home. He also cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends.

John is survived by his brother Donald G. Fahey of Lynn, a niece Karen, and her husband Brent Brown of Peabody, three great nephews Darius and his wife Katie Boyd of Lynn, Dominic Boyd of Peabody Dante Boyd of Peabody, two great great nephews Bentley and Greyson Boyd and one great great niece London Boyd all of Lynn,

Service Details: A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Friday, September 13th from 10:00 – 12:00 PM, immediately followed by a Memorial Service. Interment of ashes will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
