John Joseph “Jack” Boisson, Jr. of Londonderry, NH and formerly a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away in his home on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 66. Born in Peabody on December 30, 1951, Jack was the son of the late John J. Boisson, Sr. and Rose (Murry) Boisson. Jack was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of the formerly known Lynn Trade School. In 1975, Jack married Christine Smith in St. Patrick’s Church and the couple settled in Lynn to begin their lives together. He was a hardworking and dedicated man to his trades. Jack worked as a mechanic for Ed & Vin’s Garage in Lynn for 17 years before making the career move to truck driver for West Lynn Creamery where he was still employed. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed rooting on the Patriots and Red Sox. His greatest passion was being a proud father and grampy to his family.
Jack leaves his wife of 43 years, Christine Boisson of Londonderry, his children; John R. Boisson and his wife, Belinda of Lowell and Elizabeth Palange and her husband, Marc of Londonderry. He also leaves his grandchildren; Eliana and Stella Boisson of Lowell and Lorelai and Lucas Palange of Londonderry, his sister, Marion Fioccoprile and her husband, Richard of Peabody and his best friend, Alan Landry of FL. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, David Boisson.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 4 to 8pm. All other services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
