Joseph T. Billias

August 25, 1971August 24, 2020

Joseph Theodore Billias, age 48, of Lynn, entered into rest on Monday, August 24, 2020. He was the devoted father of Robert Soden of New Hampshire, Joseph Billias, Jr and his fiancée Katie Collins of New Hampshire, Athena Billias of New Hampshire, and the late Dustin Lemelin of Maine

Born on August 25, 1971 in Lynn, MA, he was a beloved son of Carolyn Landry Billias of Marblehead, and the late Theodore Billias. Joe grew up in Lynn, graduated from Lynn English High School, and later moved to New Hampshire to raise his family.

Joe honorably served in the United States Army for 8 years, and is a decorated hero for his role during the Panama Campaign. He was a gearhead at heart and worked as shop manager and senior service advisor. Among his many achievements, his award for being ranked in the Top 5% of service advisors in the country, was one he was particularly proud of. He took his job seriously, but brought joy to not only the work, but those he served as well. Joe truly loved going to work every day. When he wasn’t working, he adored his dog, his motorcycle, and spending time with his cherished loved ones. Above all else though, Joe loved life, and living it to the absolute fullest.

Along with his beloved children, Joe is survived by his grandchildren, Jack, Isabella, Elliot, and Lilith; his siblings, Christine (Canning) and her husband Lew Tedstone of Hudson, MA, Edmund Canning and his wife Bobbielee of Tennessee, Nicole (Billias) and her husband Michael Hicks of Hudson, MA, and Costa Billias and his wife Brianna of Nahant, MA.

Arrangements: A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 7, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple street Lynn. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. I sat here for the past few days thinking about what to write, so much comes to mind when it comes to the greatest person that has ever touched my heart. You & I were inseparable since the moment we first met. If you weren’t there , I wasn’t either. We did everything together. We hyped eachother up & kept eachothers confidence to the fullest like besties do! I miss you everyday Joe.. every single day. Breaks my heart so much how much life you still had in you. The sudden passing is still very hard to grasp. I have never met someone who fulfilled every bestie need. My favorite memory has to be filling your dishwasher with floor soap and you yelling at me “ it’s not a TIDE POD” 🤣 then proceeded to show me how to do my laundry since you were nervous about that lol. I’m gunna miss your Boston voice, and how passionate you spoke when you cared. I’m gunna miss my “big brother” feeling of security with you. I’m gunna miss you asking me “ how do I look” I will forever hold onto our shared memories & I will always make sure even when your not here to take care of you. I got you like you got me ❤️ Shine over me with your bright spirit & know that I miss & love you so much!!! I’ll see you again soon bestie 🎧🏋🏻🏍❤️

Love you Joeee ⭐️

Wow... this is still taking some time to sink in. You had my back when a lot of others didn't. You stood by my side and that will never be forgotten. You were truly one of those guys that no one ever had to wonder what you were thinking because they were going to hear the words in a matter of seconds. You will be missed my brother. KUTF!!!
