Joseph Perry Oliver

He worked in the kitchen at Century House in Peabody for many years, and his family would like to personally thank John for taking an interest in him and for continuously being a great friend. Joe had a love for animals and riding his motorcycle to New Hampshire. He was a very generous person, giving to anyone in need.

Joe’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Lafayette Nursing for the wonderful care that was given to him. They constantly made him smile and provided endless comfort throughout his stay.

Joe is survived by his loving sister Beverly Pryor and her husband Daniel M.; his niece Dawn Fluegge and her son Steven; his nephew Daniel S. Pryor and his wife Attracta and their children Hollie, Kacie and Hayden and his wife Clarissa and baby Ivan.

Friends and family are invited to attend Joe’s visitation on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Northeast Animal Shelter, or www.mspca.org.
