Joyce C. Petruccelli

Joyce was born in Lynn, daughter of Claire J. (Crighton) Dunnigan of Lynn and the late George J. “Tona” Dunnigan. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and then went on to North Shore Community College where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She was a long time resident of Lynn.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Greater Lynn Senior Services for many years until her retirement in 2011.

Joyce had a love for Nahant Beach and enjoyed her days lying on her boogie board taking in the sun. She also enjoyed cooking, reading watching movies, going out to dinner and walking her dog Eva. She followed her Irish heritage and history.

She is survived by her three sons Anthony Petruccelli and his loving long time companion Georgia Marmanidis , Richard Petruccelli and David Petruccelli all of Lynn. Four brothers George J. Dunnigan, Jr. of Swampscott, Gary J. Dunnigan of Lynn, Gregory J. Dunnigan of Salem and Glenn J. Dunnigan of Lynn, 3 sisters Patricia L. Dunnigan of Lynn, Barbara J. Ruggiero of Nashua, NH and Gail M. Rowe of Marblehead. Her 3 grandchildren who she adored and loved dearly and enjoyed spending weekends with. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joyce’s Funeral will be in the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St. Lynn Sunday at 4 :00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday for 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Joyce’s memory be made to Greater Lynn Senior Services 8 Silsbee St. Lynn, MA 01902.
