Judith Laura Strauss

Mrs. Judith “Judy” L. (Wasilewicz) Strauss, age 73, of Billerica, formerly of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Strauss. Judy was born in Lynn to the late Edward and Phyllis (Bodge) Wasilewicz on October 8, 1941.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and in her later years enjoyed watching television.

In addition to her husband, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage, she is survived by her three sons, Lee David Philbrook and his wife Renee of Lynn, Stephen Mark Strauss and his wife Nancy of Billerica, Michael Philip Strauss and his wife Marie of Gloucester; eight grandchildren, Justin, Fawn, Jennifer, Kyle, Stephanie, Madison, Mia and Meredith and her sister, Diane Voight of Beverly. She was also the mother of the late Laura Fawn Philbrook.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-7 PM. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
