Born on March 16, 1950 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Robert D. and Cornelia A. (Linehan) Cormier. Due to being born with cerebral palsy, Julie’s family moved to Massachusetts for the medical care she received in Boston. She graduated from Lynn English High School and worked as an insurance rater for Royal & Safety Insurance Agencies in Boston.
In her free time, Julie enjoyed getting her hair styled, watching police shows, going to the gym, and meeting her friends at Dunkin Donuts, however what she loved most of all was spending time with her nieces and nephews and their children.
Julie is survived by her brothers Bob and his wife Kathy, and Neil and his wife Valerie; her nieces and nephews Ryan and his wife Miranda and their children Amelia, August Milo, and Reid, Christine and her husband Jeremy and their son Riley, Jayme and her husband Matt and their children Dillon and Josephine, and Kailey.
Julie’s visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn.
