June Claire Toth

Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Olive (Trott) Durfee. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School.

June was an office manager for Atlantic Audiology in Wakefield for 11 years and retired in 2000. She also formerly worked for the Beltone Hearing Aide Services for 13 years.

Beloved mother June loved butterflies and pictures of them were all over her home.

She was a member of Bethany Congregational Church in Lynn and was a member of the Shoe City Lions Club.

She was the mother of Stephen A. Toth and his wife Jan of NC, Duane A. Toth of Lynn, and Dale Toth and his wife Janet of Peabody. She was also the sister of George E. Durfee and his wife Ann of NH, Ernest L. Durfee and his wife Judy of Spokane, WA, and Marilyn Hanson and her husband Donald of NH, the grandmother of Douglas and William Toth of Peabody, Kimberly Toth and her fiancé Alex Gutierrez of CT, Michael Toth of NH, Kate Wachter and her partner, Anna of NC, and Brandon Blain and his wife, Ashley of CT, and leaves several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12-4 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn followed by a Prayer Service at 4 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the North Shore Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970 or Operation Troop Support, 16 Trinity St, Danvers, MA 01923.
