Karen J. Sacherski

Born in Lynn, Karen was the daughter of the late Herbert and Avis (Trask) Hopkins. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1968. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Karen spent over forty years as a Rehab Aide, most recently at the Shaughnessy-Kaplan Rehabilitation Hospital.

She leaves her daughters, Liza Holland and her husband Michael of Danvers, Leah Chisholm and her husband David of Danvers and Tammi Crowley and her husband Joseph of Lynn. She was the sister of Herbert Hopkins of Maine, Ray Hopkins of Peabody, Wayne Hopkins of Peabody, Nancy Smith of Beverly, Louanne Fernald of Amesbury and Marione Barrett of Stratham, NH. She was the loving Grandmother of Quintin, Colby, Hailey, Gabrielle, Reese, Keegan and Tess and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Karen’s Memorial Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Visiting Hours Monday 4-8PM. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
