Kathryn M. Donovan, age 88 years, formerly of Lynn, died on Friday. December 8, 2023 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Margaret (O’Neil) Donovan. She was raised and educated in Lynn and lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life. Kathryn was a Nurse Practitioner and worked for several doctors in Lynn before retiring.
The sister of the late Sr. Margaret Ann Donovan, S.N.D. and John F. Donovan, she leaves her sister-in-law Kathleen Marie Donovan of Westford, a niece Kathleen Maura Donovan of Woburn, and two grandnephews Brendan Donovan Tiernan and Kieran Tiernan.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by her funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church Lynnfield at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynn.
