

Kenneth F. “Eben” Brown, 82, of Lynn, loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Kenny was the son of the late Warren E. Brown and Stella M. (Comeau) Brown. He grew up in Lynn and attended St. Pius school and then went on to graduate from St. Mary’s Boys High School in 1959, where he played on the basketball team.
Kenny in his youth was an altar boy at St. Pius V Church and played in the early days of organized Little League Baseball in Lynn, on a team coached by his father. Later in life, Kenny loved playing golf and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed football, baseball and especially basketball, and watching games with his close friends, they had a wonderful time together with many moments of laughter…. his sense of humor was a big part of his personality. He loved music, including as a teenager…singing in front of his two sisters while looking in the mirror. He especially liked traveling with his wife Marion on a cruise to Bermuda for their 50th anniversary and to Florida and Las Vegas with friends. Kenny spent two years in the Navy and worked for many years in the food distribution industry, as a Plant Manager.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marion C. (Leonard) Brown; his daughter Kimberly Pezzuto; and the loves of his life, his two granddaughters Courtney Pezzuto of Beverly and Cassidy Pezzuto of Austin, TX, his sisters, Jo-Ann McDermott of Fairfield, CT and Linda C. Donovan and her husband, William F. Donovan, Jr. of Andover, brothers-in-law; David Leonard and his partner Jim, Thomas Leonard and his wife Mary; sisters-in law Carol Leonard and Louise Blackadar and her husband Ron; as well as several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He cherished them all…including his cat, Timmy. Kenny was predeceased by his brother Fred C. Brown, his brothers-in-law, William F. McDermott, John Leonard, and Billy Leonard; father-in law, William Leonard and his wife Janet, sister-in law Betty Leonard and son-in-law Christopher Pezzuto. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn including an In House Service from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
