I'm so sorry to hear the news about Kyle. He was a funny guy who could always make you laugh, a good friend and a great athlete. I still tell the story about how he almost broke my hand during freshman baseball, when I was catching while he was on the mound. I've never seen anyone throw that hard. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

I just heard the news of about Kyle today and wanted to pay my respect. Last time I saw him, in October of last year, he told me his worst fear was that he was scared to pass away without his family knowing how much he loved them. I urged him to get back in touch with them and he actually called his sister Corey and his mother right then and there. The smile on his face was priceless. Just in the short time I spent with him I could tell his love for his family ran deep through his heart. He spoke so lovingly of his father as well. His smile lit up any room, and he was an extremely passionate person. I'm lucky I got to know him. My sincerest apologizes to his family, but I just had to let you know how much you all meant to him.

Kyle was one of a kind. We shared a time in both of our lives that was pure and carefree...a period of time I will always look back upon fondly. Kyle was a great teammate and friend, and always lightened everyone's mood. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest In Peace Kyle. You will truly be missed.
