Lawrence N. Hill

Mr. Lawrence N. Hill, age 62 years, of Millis, MA, formerly of Hanover St. Lynn, died suddenly Wed. Feb. 9, at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, after a suffering a heart attack at home. Born in Malden he was the son of the late Lee Joseph and Alvada (Toce) Hill. He attended schools in Malden, Lynn, and North Reading. Larry was employed at Empire Laundry on Myrtle St. for several years. He was then employed by the City of Lynn in the Sanitation Dept. for many years until he took an early retirement in 1983. Larry enjoyed weight lifting, nature and his cats. He is survived by three sisters Charlotte Hill of Kettle Falls, WA, Ernestine Hill of Jamaica Plain, Esther L. and her husband Gary Morin of Leominster, three brothers Paul J. Hill of Northfield, NH, Douglas F. Hill of Westford, MA, Peter D. and his wife Dana Hill of Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the Marjorie E. Hill. Service Details: Larry's visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Sunday from 12:00 - 3:00 PM, a funeral service will be held during visiting hours at 2:30 PM, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations may be made in Larry's Name to the Willowbrook Manor Rest and Retirement Home, 71 Union St. Millis, MA 02054.
