Leonard G. Love

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Cameron) Love. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1955. Lenny was employed as a truck driver for the Robert Roberts Company for many years until he retired in 1998. He also drove a bus for GLSS for 9 years. He was an umpire for the Lynn City Park Softball League and bowled in the Buckingham Bowling League. Lenny was an avid sports fan and his favorite team was the Patriots. He was a family man and loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by three daughters Evelyn B. and her husband James DiCarlo of Lynn, Cheryl A. and her husband James Whitten of Revere, Debbie S. and her husband Arthur Toner of Lynn, one brother Richard Love of Lynn, one sister Catherine Boyne of Braintree, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Andrew and John Love.

Service Details: Funeral services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Thursday at 12:30 PM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
