Linda M. DeSandis

Linda M. (Antonelli) DeSandis, 71 of Lynn, passed away after a brief illness in the Beverly Hospital on Monday, July 18, 2016. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Leona (Horsman) Antonelli. Linda was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School with the Class of 1962. After graduating high school, she continued her education by obtaining her hairdressing license. Linda worked briefly as a hairdresser before going to work for the Distributor Corporation of New England in Malden where she worked for over 15 years before her retirement in 2015. Linda loved spending time with her best friend and sweetheart, Greg Garian, where the couple spent many hours on their boat off the coast of Hawthorne Cove Marina in Salem. Linda also enjoyed playing the penny slot machines at the casinos in the area. Linda is survived by her loving companion of over 30 years, Gregory P. Garian of Lynn, her children: Michelle DeSandis-Stacey and her companion, T.J. Middleton of Dracut, Steven DeSandis and his wife, Tracie of North Andover, and Kevin DeSandis of Londonderry, NH, as well as Barbara Caufield and her husband, Dusty of Lynn, her grandchildren: Jacob Stacey, Daria DeSandis, Amber, Michael, and Tyler DeSandis, and Shane and Jesse Caufield, and her brother, Peter Antonelli and his wife Judy of Saugus. Linda is also survived by her niece and nephew, Staci and Jason Antonelli. At the family’s request, funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
