Linda Marie Salkins

Linda M. (Comeau) Salkins, age 67, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Ernest C. Salkins Jr. with whom she shared 48 loving years of marriage.

Born in Saugus on December 16, 1955, Linda was the daughter of the late Eugene and Thelma (Spinney) Comeau.

She was the devoted mother of Mathew Comeau, and Danielle Salkins; the cherished grandmother of Dominic Grigoris, Nikos Grigoris, and Benjamin Comeau; the dear sister-in-law of Debra (Salkins) Wong, John Salkins, and Carol (Ferragamo) MacDonald; and the beloved aunt of Melissa Wong, Sophia (Salkins) Rivera, and Scott Wong. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Linda grew up and raised her family in Lynn. She graduated from Lynn English High School with the class of 1974. She was a CNA and enjoyed her work caring for others. She cherished her time spent with family and friends, especially her grandsons, both at home and in North Conway. Her door was always open, everyone was always welcome, she always had a smile on her face, and her laughter was contagious. She also enjoyed cooking and taking her beloved dog, Nanuk for walks.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
