Linda (Bissett) Roach, age 79 of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Rosewood in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Kevin W. Roach and the beloved mother of the late Christopher “Digga” Roach.
Born in Lynn to the late Leslie “Buddy” and Ruth (Berninger) Bissett. Linda was a well-respected teacher in the City of Lynn for 49 years. She began her teaching career at the Brickett Elementary School and retired from Shoemaker Elementary School.
Linda is survived by her sister Susan Belair and her husband Donn, her sister-in-law Pat Gill and her husband Frank, brothers-in-law J. Michael Roach, Robert and Diane Roach,
Her nieces and nephews Danielle, Suzanne, Joe, Ryan, Michelle, Stephen, Brent and Brianna and her wonderful friends Stacia and Jonathan Brennan, Alex, Kevin Hennessey and his wife Jess.
In addition to her son and husband, Linda is predeceased by her sister-in-law Joanne Roach.
Linda’s visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
