Lloyd Howland, age 73, of Seabrook, NH, passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2026, at home. He was born in Lynn, the son of the late William N. Howland, Jr. and June (Slater) Howland. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School and attended Ontario Bible College. He worked for Sylvania and later for Cabot Stain in Newburyport.
He is survived by his brother Tom Howland and sister-in-law Nancy of Georgetown, MA. He is also survived by his nephews, Nathanael Howland and his wife LiuPing (Eva) Howland of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Jonathan Howland of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by his niece Jennifer Miner and her husband Joel Miner of Albuquerque, NM. He also adored his grand-nieces, Clara and Linnea Howland of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Lloyd loved his family and was the main caregiver for generations of aging family members. He was devoted to his birds and helped his many neighbors and relations care for their pets and always kept tabs on the well-being of his local wild birds. Lloyd enjoyed sharing his passion about current events, social justice issues and curiosity about the latest technology.
Services will be on Friday, September 4 in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10AM to 11AM, with a Memorial Service at 11AM, followed by interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
