Born on April 20, Lois was the daughter of the late Carolyn (née Payntor) and Leonard Josselyn. She was a graduate of Medford High School and UMass Lowell and spent her career in Environmental Health & Safety, working at Rohm Haas, Genzyme, Pfizer, and Sodexo.
She loved to laugh and had a way of enjoying the simple things in life. She adored her dog, Flynn, who was her constant companion and brought her so much joy. She enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and spending time with the family and friends who meant so much to her.
Lois is survived by her loving husband John Hourihan; her devoted children Kasey, Michael and his wife Bianca, and Keith and his wife Ivana; and her cherished granddaughter Diana. She is also survived by her sister Diane Josselyn, her niece Denise Collins, and many other friends and family. She will be deeply missed, but the memories she shared with those around her will remain with them always.
Friends and family are kindly invited to attend Lois’s visitation on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Her memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM.
