

Born in Lynn to the late George M. and Sadie E. (Karr) Kennedy. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, friends, and community.
Peggy dedicated her career to caring for others. She began working at Lynn Hospital and later continued at Union Hospital, where she worked for 30 years before her retirement. In her free time, Peggy enjoyed playing canasta, dominoes, and Scrabble with family and friends. She cherished weekends spent in New Hampshire, especially apple picking, swimming at the Salem YMCA, and creating lasting memories with those she loved.
Known for her remarkable green thumb, Peggy took great pride in her gardens, where her flowers and plants flourished under her care. Her warmth, kindness, and love of family will be remembered always.
Peggy is survived by her two beloved children, Dale McDonough and Artie Badger and his wife Diana. She was the proud grandmother of her four grandchildren, Nicole Lopes and her husband Joshua, Rachel Schaar and her wife Bonnie, Dennis Badger and his wife Aubrey, and Samantha Rogers and her husband Jack. Peggy was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Tayla, Madison, Trip, Scarlett, and Alexis. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Cooper, who brought her great companionship and joy. Peggy will be deeply missed by her entire family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Peggy’s visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
