Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Jordan) Cunningham. She graduated from St. Mary’s Girls High School, and then from Salem State College.
For 40 years Peg taught in the Lynn Elementary Schools.
She leaves two sons William J. Callahan, M.D. of Boston, and Brian Callahan of Malden, and a sister Mary C. Cunningham of Lynn.
She was also the sister of the late Peter J. Cunningham.
Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Wednesday at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 PM.
