Margaret M. "Marge" Iodice

Mrs. Margaret M. “Marge” (Powers) Iodice, age 82, of Lynn formerly of Billerica, died Saturday morning in a local nursing home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was the former wife of John A. Iodice.

Born in Tewskbury, Marge was the daughter of the late John L. and Jane M. (Canniff) Powers. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School Class of 1950 and later attended Secretarial School.

Prior to her retirement in 2001, she was employed by the Polaroid Corp. and also worked for Honeywell for over 20 years. She loved her dog and enjoyed horseback riding. She was a licensed pilot and had her own twin Cessna plane. Marge also loved the ocean.

She leaves four daughters, Mary Cockrell of Lynn, Jeanne Arricale and her husband Michael of Billerica, Sam MacDonald and her husband David of Nashua, NH and Helen Malcolm of Hudson, NH and one foster son, Dennis Dalesio of Haverhill She was the loving Grandmother to TJ and George Hajjar, Michael Arricale and Steven Murnane. Loving Great Grandmother to Angelina and Aaliyah Hajjar. Marge was the sister of Leo J. and Jerry Powers both of Lynn, Agnes Raymond of Swampscott and Marcella Perrotti of Topsfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday from 4-7PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited.
