Margaret "Peg" C. Estes

Margaret "Peg" C. (Sherber) Estes, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Kaplan House at the age of 92 after living a full and beautiful life. She was the wife of the late Kenneth S. Estes, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Peg was one of the eight children born to the late Joseph and Agnes (Twomey) Sherber.

Peg was a weekly communicant of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church for the past 73 years.

Peg leaves a daughter Cindy Weeks and her husband Kenny of Lynnfield, and their two children, Nicole and her fiancé Bryan, and Cameron and his partner Nick; a son Kenneth "Chick" Estes and his wife Donna of Peabody, and their two children, Gracelyn and her significant other Patric, and Delaine Jackson and her husband Bradley, and a great-granddaughter Noella; and a daughter Linda Marnell and her husband Ted of Peabody, and their two children, Craig and his wife Diane, and Ashley LaChance and her husband Michael. She also leaves a sister Helen Mayo of Nahant, many nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her siblings Nancy Monteith, Mary Giannattasio, Paul Sherber, Marilyn Russell, Geraldine Lockard, and Joseph Sherber.

Relatives and friends are invited to Peg's Visitation on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Service will be held the following day, February 22, 2024 at 12:00 pm in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 74 So. Common Street, Lynn, all are welcome to come to the Funeral Home at 10:30 am to drive in procession. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
