

Marian was born in Lynn, where she lived most of her life, until she moved to Middleton in 2000 with her family. Marian shared an incredible bond with her daughter, Shayna Kinney-Dana with whom she created countless memories with throughout the 57 years of being her mother. Marian’s grandchildren, Jordan, Lindsey and Michael Dana, were blessed to have been raised in the presence of their Mimi. She worked at The Daily Item for over 44 years, where she made numerous friends that became family. She retired at the young age of 78.
A lifelong follower of Christ, Marian was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church. She loved singing in the choir, being a member of the Grace UMV and participating in the annual Grace Notes show. She had a deep love for her church family.
Marian was the daughter of the late Cyril and Helena (Donnelly) Rowe. She was predeceased by her siblings, Ruth Kalapinski, Laurence Rowe and Robert Rowe. She is survived by her brother, Richard Rowe of Hampton, Kristin, Joe, and Jake Kalapinski of Middleton, Diane Miles of Groveland, Mary Malone of Lynn, nieces, nephews and beloved pets.
Marian made friends wherever she went. Her smile was welcoming and her ability to make you laugh was a gift. She will be profoundly missed, deeply mourned, and forever loved.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held in the Grace United Methodist Church, 374 Broadway, Lynn on Saturday, October 17, 2026 beginning at 11 a.m., followed by a service in the church at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A celebration of her life will follow at Gannon Golf Course, 60 Great Woods Road, Lynn at 2:30 p.m.
Arrangements are in the care of Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Marian’s memory to Northeast Animal Shelter, Salem Support MSPCA-Angell - The MSPCA-Angell.
