Born on December 6, 1929 to the late William and Vera (Davidson) Skinner. She grew up in Reading, graduated from Reading High School and raised her family in Lynn. She worked for Lynn Gas & Electric until her retirement in 1978, when she and Al (Pop) moved to Palm Bay, Florida.
Marion learned to paint with oil and got quite good at it. She loved to crochet and shared her creations with many people over the years. She loved playing card games, board games, jigsaw puzzles and oh, those crosswords! She was always up for a game of cribbage and loved to learn Mahjong.
She loved the Skinner Family Reunions over the years and always spoke of them until the next one. She loved spending time with family and friends. She volunteered to make adorable hats and tiny blankets for preemie babies in the hospital. She got to travel and to enjoy her retirement with the love of her life until he passed away in 1994.
Marion was the devoted mother of Stephen Greelish and his wife Doreen of Lowell, Sheila Sullivan of Groton, and Susanne Greelish of Watertown; the cherished grandmother of Gavin Greelish Ajami of Miami, FL; the sister of Hazel Stocker and Marie Quale, both of Maine, Joe Skinner and his wife Jan of South Hampton, and Roy and his wife Pam of Boxford. Marion is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
