Mark A. Despres

Mr. Mark A. Despres, age 49, passed away on March 28, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He is predeceased by his mother Mary Connolly Despres who passed away when Mark was a toddler, and his father Gerald Despres. He was also predeceased by his aunt, Edna Connolly Beaver, who raised him as her own from the age of two.

Mark attended Lynn schools and worked as a truck driver for many years until illness prevented him from doing so. He enjoyed camping and fishing and was an avid New England sports fan.

He leaves two daughters, Kristen Despres Brown of Lynn and Sara Despres of Danvers, and a granddaughter. He also leaves his siblings, Debra Clegg of Lynn, Patrice Emberley of Nahant, Bryan Beaver of Lynnfield, Judy Nelson of Lynn Garry Beaver of Lynnfield, J. Scott Beaver of Saugus, Margaret Zorzonello of Peabody, and Andrew Beaver of Lynn. He also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn. Graveside Services will be Friday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lynnfield Street, Lynn at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to individually preferred charitable organizations.
