Michelle Lynne Alvarenga

Michelle Lynne (Maag) Alvarenga of Revere, formerly of Lynn, passed away in the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the age of 43. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Richard E. Maag of Lynn and the late Marjorie L. (Doyle) Maag. Michelle was raised and educated in Lynn. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School with the Class of 1992. She went on to attend classes in the North Shore Community College in Lynn. Michelle worked in the food service industry.

Michelle was a warm and happy person and could always be found with a smile. She was funny and humorous and found great joy in helping those in need. Some of Michelle’s happiest times were the days off she got to spend with her loving husband, whether it was walking in downtown Boston or exploring another adventure together.

In addition to her father, Michelle leaves her husband of five years, Christian V. Alvarenga, her sisters: Tracey L. Maag and her long-time companion, Scott Adams of Lynn, and Kelly L. LaVallee and her husband, Jeff of CT, her grandmother, Yvonne Palleschi of Lynn, her aunt, Charlene Feilteau of Lynn, her nephews: Noah Adams, and Chase and Colton LaVallee as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 12 Noon. An hour of Visitation will take place in the funeral home just prior to the service from 11 to 12 Noon. Burial will follow the funeral home services in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
