Neal is survived by daughter Alice Bills of Mena, Arkansas, son Terrence of Petersaurach, Germany and son Alan Skumautz of Bristol, Connecticut; 4 grandsons Ian Bills, Patrick Skumautz, Phillip Skumatuz and Colin Skumautz; longtime companion and friend Dorothy Ciampa.
Neal served in the United States Air Force as a code breaker. He worked most of his life as a Systems Analyst. Neal was a self-proclaimed football aficionado and a diehard fan of the Green Bay Packers; he enjoyed traveling, playing cards with his friends, and spending time with his family.

A funeral service for Neal Skumautz will be held on January 11, 2021 at 1:00pm at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
