Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Florence K. (Jones) Soucy. He graduated from Lynn English High School and lived in Lynn for most of his life. He then lived in Nahant for over 20 years.
He served in the U. S. Army for six years, and then served in the U. S. Air Force for six years and retired a Sergeant in 1973.
He worked for Liberty Tree Mall as a security manager.
Norman was a Friend of Bill W.
He leaves a brother Thomas D. Soucy and his wife Mary of Lynn, a sister Dorothy Maguire of Nahant, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Rodney Soucy and Robert Soucy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
