

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Patricia (Donoghue) Dineen of Lynn and the late Albert W. Dineen. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School and went on to graduate from the Chelsea Soldier’s Home School of Nursing. She was a lifelong Lynner.
Prior to retirement, Patricia was a well known LPN in the City of Lynn, spending many years assisting patients at the former Devlin Nursing Home. Helping people brought her great joy.
She was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church for many years and was a member of the City Hall Bowling Group. She also enjoyed bingo, reading, quilting and spending time with her granddaughter.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her children, Earl Vaughan and Mary Vaughan both of Lynn. She was the sister of Albert P. Dineen and his wife Agnes “Sissie” of Lynn, Pauline M. Chernoff of Lynn and Mary F. Schomburg and her husband Fred of Swansea. Loving Grandmother to Emily Tambeau. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles V. Dineen.
Patricia’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn Saturday at 8:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church at 9:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
