Petrina Capiniello age 94, formerly of Revere, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Carpiniello and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Petrina was born in Controne, Italy on December 1, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Angelo Antonio and Giovanna Torrone. She is survived by her loving children, Linda and her husband Kenneth, Joanne and her husband Robert, and her son Anthony and his wife Gail. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Melinda, and Kristina and her husband Ricky, as well as her great-grandchildren Winsley and Letti. She was also the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Petrina’s visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 9:30-11:30 AM at Vertuccio Smith & Vazza Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach Street, Revere, MA 02151. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 12:00 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere St., Revere. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
