passed away On Monday April 21, 2025 surrounded by her loving daughter Marie Yve-laure Jeanty and her granddaughter Mariah Angel Jeanty whom held her grandmother’s hands until her last breath. Born in Port au Prince Haiti on August 10, 1946, She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Angel Bernard.

Proud mother of Marie Yvrose Bernard Destin, Marie Suze Bernard, Marie Verdine Saint Jean, Edna Jeanty, Waldory Immacule Jeanty, Rose Mirca Jeanty deceased, Sherline Jeanty deceased, Marie Yve-Laure Jeanty, Alien Illiotes, Antonio Blanc and Guerline Pryen.

Loving grandmother of Fabrice Itacy, Jasmine Jeanty, Tamika Kirstie Juste, Niely B. Guillaume, Stefania Pierlie Juste, Gordon M. Dornevil, Shamira Guillaume, Marvin Pryen, Mariah Queen Angel Jeanty, Wesley Jeanty, Leo Lexander Jeanty, Rose carmelle Jeanty Seleyna Jeanty, Angeline Jeanty, Daniel Jeanty and Boromain & Widline Louis Jeanty, Clerffondy Closeville, Julovens Closeville, Clervencia Closeville-Joseph and Elviana Closeville.

Philomene attended Fille de la Sages in Port-au-Prince Haiti, she was married to her husband Edner Mathieu Jeanty deceased in 1986 and she moved to the United States in 2001 until her death.

Philomene was a great housewife to her husband and family while working part time as a made-wife in Port-au-Prince. She loved to cook and her happy by feeding majority of the kids in her neighborhood. People in who know usually refer to her as Mama Philo. Philo loved dancing, laughing and praying.

A Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St Pius V Catholic Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn Massachusetts.
