

Phyllis M. (Burbine) Rochon age 65, a longtime resident of Lynn, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Kaplan Center in Danvers surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Brown) and Theodore Burbine.
Phyllis attended Lynn Schools and, as a young woman, worked for the Lipizzaner Stallion shows and the Barnum & Bailey Circus Organization. In her later years she worked as a CNA at the Rosewood Nursing Home and the Devereaux House. She loved going for long car rides and enjoyed classic westerns as well as nature and geographic shows.
Phyllis was the wife of the late Douglas Grant. She is survived by her husband Paul Rochon with whom she shared 19 years of marriage. She is also survived by her sister Theresa and husband George Georgopoulos of Lynn, their children Joshua and Alisha also of Lynn, her late brother Robert Burbine of Salem and his children, her brother Raymond Burbine of Lynn and his children Teddy and Michelle. Many other nieces and nephews also survive her.
