

Priscilla Ann (Bruni) Arena, age 89, of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. She was born in Lynn to the late Nicola and Marion (Cunningham) Bruni and was the sister to the late Marie Camilia. Priscilla was a lifelong resident of Lynn, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. She worked for the City of Lynn in the Parking Department until her retirement.
She was an avid lover of the arts. From music to literature there was nothing she didn’t want to experience. She loved to cook and would use her food to show how much she loved her family, whether it was her amazing red sauce and meatballs or her precisely cooked homemade calzones. They provided much comfort to her doting grandchildren over the years. A voracious reader, always had her nose in a book especially when it came to True Crime novels. She was a magical woman who could make anyone smile when she walked into a room. Her family called her (PPPP) Positive, Power, Prayer, Priscilla for her dedication to her faith. She was the heart and soul of the family and will be deeply missed.
She was the loving mother of Debra (Arena) Oblenes and her late husband Philip of Lynn, Charles Arena and his late wife Lisa of Nahant, Kim Arena of Lynn, and Marianne (Arena) Gauthier and her husband Brian of Lynn; the grandmother of Emily Bauer and her husband Max, Abby Guenard and her husband Chris, Brian Gauthier Jr. and his wife Maddy, Lauren Arena, Charles Arena IV, Marisa Oblenes, and Corey Oblenes, and the great-grandmother of Noah Bauer, Luc Guenard, and Isabella, Raymond, Delilah and Daphne McAleer. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Priscilla’s Visitation on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her Funeral Mass is to follow on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial will be private.
