Hairston, Raymond Jean – Of Lynn passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 44. He was the beloved husband of Dawn Hairston (Belair) of 12 years. He was the beloved/devoted son of Jacqueline Renee Meier – Boucher and of the late Willie Thomas Hairston. He was the loving father of Gianna Elizabeth Hairston of Lowell and the late Kyle Jean Hairston. He was the dear brother of Stacey Hairston of Lynn, Cassandra Felice of Lynn, Angela Hairston of Beverly, Corina Hairston of Beverly, Josh Hairston of Beverly, Lisa Felice of Michigan and the adored son in law of Mary Belair and her late husband David. Brother in law of David and Nicole Belair of Lynn and Chris and Krystal Christie of Salem. Raymond is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Raymond was born in Salem on November 10, 1977, and lived in Lynn for most of his life. He was a fun loving guy to all who knew him, who always loved to get his family and friends together for camp fires, most of the time in his mom’s backyard. He enjoyed cooking and eating all kinds of food but he especially loved his mom’s eggplant parmigiana and pizza. Some of the things Raymond enjoyed doing were going to the White Mountains, watching movies, especially thrillers and kids animations. When he wanted to find peace and quiet he would always go out fishing. Raymond worked at GE Aviation as a punch presser, but he was a handyman at heart and always took the time to share and teach his knowledge to his friends on welding, taking care of cars and anything that he could to be a good mentor to all his friends. Raymond adored his 2 cats, Pure and Black and loved all animals he would be around. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial visitation for Raymond will be held on Friday May 13 from the Cuffe- McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St. Lynn from 12pm – 3pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
